One pascal is a small amount, so kilopascals (kPa), bar (100 kPa), and pounds per square inch (PSI) are more common in practice. Standard atmospheric pressure at sea level is about 101.3 kPa, 1.013 bar, or 14.7 PSI. These units all describe the same thing and convert with fixed factors.
